With numerous prestigious titles, including M.S., F.A.I.S., F.I.C.S., F.A.C.S., FRCS, and FAMS, his journey reflects his commitment to advancing surgical oncology both in India and internationally. As a former President of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) in 2014 and the Indian Association of Surgical Oncology in 1993, Dr. Shukla has significantly contributed to the surgical and oncological communities.

Throughout his career, he has held numerous high-ranking positions, including Director of the Lakshmi Memorial Hospital and Research Centre in Indore and Professor & Head of Surgery at M.G.M. Medical College & M.Y. Group of Hospitals, Indore. His tenure as Chairman and Chief Editor of the Indian Journal of Surgery from 2003 to 2013 further solidified his role as a thought leader in the field.
